2024 Hollywood Music In Media Awards Winners

Hans Zimmer and Emilia Pérez took home three trophies each to lead the winners at the 2024 Hollywood Music in Media awards, which honor the year’s most memorable film and TV music moments. The Wild Robot was the only other multiple winner, taking a pair of prizes during Wednesday night’s ceremony at The Avalon in Hollywood.

Double Oscar winner and 12-time nominee Zimmer won for three different projects: Score – Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Dune: Part Two, Score – Documentary Series for Planet Earth III and Song – TV Show Limited Series for “Love Will Survive” from The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

Zoe Saldaña took Song – Onscreen Performance (Film) for “El Mal” from Emilia Pérez, which also scooped the marquee Score – Feature Film award for composers-songwriters Clément Ducol & Camille along with Music Themed Film.

Other songwriter winners included Diane Warren (“The Journey” from The Six Triple Eight); Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Bernie Taupin and Andrew Watt (“Never Too Late” from Elton John: Never Too Late); and Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li and Andrew Wyatt (“Beautiful That Way” from The Last Showgirl).

The Song – Animated Film prize went to the five-person songwriting team behind “Kiss the Sky” from The Wild Robot. The pic’s composer Kris Bowers took the Score – Animated Film award.

Other winners included the Disney/Marvel juggernaut Deadpool & Wolverine for Soundtrack Album and Lainey Wilson, who took the Music Video trophy for “Out of Oklahoma.”
